The Range Control Box Type 682 remotely initiates the action of the solenoid firing mechanism in Wiltshire Ballistic Services’ Universal Breech Systems. There are interfaces provided for optional add on systems such as door closed detection, PIR motion detectors and an audible "about to fire" alarm system. A key switch is provided for making the system safe.

This equipment has been developed for use with the MS Instruments PLC Ballistic Data Acquisition System (Type 680).
