NIMBUS
- Non-Lethal
- Covert
- Smoke, 160 decibel Sound and Air Bursts
- No impact to function of vehicle
- Simple to deploy with safety firing system
NIMBUS
The Non-Lethal Protection system NIMBUS was designed after hearing the problems faced by security of VIPs in war torn areas. The NIMBUs system is designed to protect an up-armoured vehicle and its occupants from an attack. The non-lethal sound, smoke and air burst pyrotechnics that are fitted covertly beneath the car are triggered easily from inside the vehicle to distract, disorientate and deprive the attackers of the advantage and provide the occupants of the vehicle a chance to regain the initiative or to escape into a convoy vehicle. It is aimed at VIPs and those working in war-torn areas likely to be attacked. It can be fitted to any vehicle and is very easy to use.
The pyrotechnics can be changed and fitted to be versatile for various environments. It is designed to not only protect the vehicle but be non-lethal to innocent bystanders and surrounding buildings. It only needs a power supply of 12V to 36V and only extracts 2A from the power source meaning it does not affect the vehicles performance. We can also upgrade the pyrotechnics to be of different natures such as irritant gas or rubber balls, depending on the situation

Hostile Fire Indicator
- indicates the general direction from which the live fire originated
- Can be fitted to rotary winged aircraft or for ground based vehicles
Hostile Fire Indicator
This system is designed originally to provide warning to a pilot of a rotary wing aircraft that they are under small arms fire and indicates the direction from which that fire originated. However it can be also fitted to a vehicle for vehicle protection, this system is more compact for use on a vehicle.
The system calculates the set of bullet velocity vectors which thus shows the direction of the source of the possible hostile fire. On receipt of an indication the pilot would normally be able to take avoiding action and minimise the danger of a subsequent direct hit. It comprises of three basic units, the Array, the Computer Unit and the Indicator Unit.
