Ammunition Testing

Wiltshire Ballistic Services use a specifically design Universal receiver for all our ammunition trials. This means the results are kept consistent and trials can be taken over and over again. We can test a wide range of calibres and use only the most accurate equipment which is designed by a MS Instruments, an expert in ballistic instrumentation. The equipment we use is constantly being upgraded and developed meaning our results are always of the highest standard. WBS can test all aspects of the ammunition including the internal pressure within the barrel before and during firing. We can test the ammunition at the muzzle, in flight and at the impact point at point blank range and up to 100m. Due to the range of equipment available at the range WBs can test both supersonic and subsonic ammunition.
