		We can undertake a wide range of testing using our extensive skills and instrumentation. The image shows a 7.62x51 NATO ball against GRP, illustrating our capacity for detailed gathering of pre and post-impact data.
		Our facilities include the ability to undertake detailed ballistic and stab-testing of body armours. The full range of threat-levels can be accommodated with all relevant data recorded automatically.
		Armour and components can be tested with a wide-range of projectiles travelling at speeds in excess of 1500m/s. Impact Velocity and Energy data are recorded. Where relevant, we can also measure any remaining velocity and energy.
		V50 and other measurements can be made automatically and quickly. All data is logged to disk and may be imported into other commercial packages for further analysis if required.
		As with opaque armours, we can test from pistol calibres up to 14.5mm and up to 20mm FSPs. The image shows a 76mm thick multilayer armour having successfully resisting a 50 cal projectile. Our facilities are often used for filming by BBC and independent broadcast companies
		We are currently expanding our range of test barrels for ammunition proofing. Chamber and port pressures are measured with all data, including pressure/time curves, being available in standard file formats for further analysis if required. Our investigations include an analysis of the comparison between standard and conformal transducers in order to offer a full internal ballistics capability.
		We provide training in a wide range of ballistics disciplines, utilising velocity, pressure, accuracy and other automatic instrumentation. The facilities are also used by a number of companies to train end-users of their equipment in a controlled live-fire environment.
		This 20m range provides an attractive and secure demonstration facility. With computer-controlled lighting and integral audio system, this live-fire facility is designed to show your equipment in its working environment.
		The range includes two secure conference areas: Conference room - space for up to 30 delegates. Includes PC/Video projector, telecoms, modem and network facilities with 9 display cabinets. Reception - Space for up to 12 delegates. Includes TV/Video/Audio, bar area, catering facilities and 2 display cabinets.
